About Topic

Synod Series 1: An Emmaus Journey: From Pre-Synod to Exhortation
The Church has spent the last three years encountering youth and young adults – through consultations, study, and interacting with them at synodal experiences in Rome. Come and learn how we got there, who was involved, and what we learned. This session will explore the process and how the Church came to understand young people today. The presenters for this session feature Katie Prejean McGrady and Paul Jarzembowski with special guest Yadira Vieyra This is the first of a four-part series entitled Synodality: Unpacking the Universal Church’s Recent Work on “Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment”. The series is hosted by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), the Southeast Pastoral Institute for Hispanic/Latino Ministry (SEPI), the Catholic Apostolate Center (CAC), in collaboration with the USCCB Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth.
